As a university student I use to spend my summers selling books door to door in the east for the Southwestern Company, based out of Nashville, TN. The picture on the left is me in my first summer selling books in Oshawa, Ontario. My second summer I sold books in Oakville, Ontario, 3rd summer, St. John, New Brunswick, and 4th summer Calgary, Alberta. The picture on the right is myself and some book selling friends in Puerto Vallarta Mexica on a bonus trip that we all won for units of books sold.

Riding the Jesus boat on the Sea of Galilee. The Sea is absolutely beautiful! We stayed at the Howard Johnson right on the Sea. It was amazing to watch the sun rise from the lawn chairs overlooking the water. It was a very special place for its serenity, beauty and all the wonderful things Jesus did on or at the Sea. It was fun making the trip with good friends in the above photo...Lisa, Lucy, Lig and Patrick.

The photo on the left is the Jordan River in Israel. The river was smaller and greener than I thought it would be. It was amazing to dip my toes in the water that has such a significant place in history. On our way to various holy sites we ran across some cute little bunnies in the photo on the right that were cared for by a street vendor. Very cute! .

Thre is just something about the Mediterranean Sea that is amazing. I fell in love with it from the moment we arrived in Tel Aviv and stayed in a hotel that was right on the Mediterranean. There is something very beautiful and serene about it. The photo on the right is beautiful Caesarea Philippi, the place where Peter acknowledged Jesus as the Messiah. .

Jerusalem is of course amazing but very different from the smaller country like towns in Israel. It's a city and as such, is much more busy and harsh than places like Galilee, Nazareth and Capernum. A beautiful church is built on the rock of Calvary. People visiting the church have the opportunity to kneel at the above altar and reach down a hole to touch the rock of Calvary.

A beautiful church is built on the site of what archaeologists believe to be the birthplace of Jesus in Bethlehem. People visitng the church have the opportunity to kneel and reflect at the reverent place above.

Floating on the Dead Sea in Israel was awesome! Because of the extremely high salt content of the Dead Sea people automatically float! There are no living things in the water that you would expect to find in a sea. That was terrific because I didn't have to wonder what was in the water with me. Anyone who knows me personally knows how much I absolutely LOVE theme parks. I'm a huge Disney fan and theme park buff. The photo on the left is Goofy and I at Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. I love all the Disney characters but Goofy is my favorite. On the left is the Cat in the Hat and I at Islands of Adventures, Seuss Landing, Orlando, Florida.

Besides being a huge Disney and Theme Park buff I'm also a rollercoaster hound. I LOVE the thrill of rollercoasters! Above is a picture of me and "The Hulk" at Islands of Adventure, Orlando, Florida. What an awesome rollercoaster! I rode it twice! It was a blast!

this one too - amazing! What a thrill! Especially at this point in the ride when the other rollercoaster shows up without warning right in front of you. Pretty freaky and awesome all at once!
